The late Freddie Prince joined the RAF in the 1930's was selected for pilot training and flew in Coastal Command during WWII. After retiring from the RAF in the 1960's he built up an anitquarian aircraft book business before finally retiring to Dorset in the 90s.
In his retirement Freddie took up painting, his favourite subject was square rigged sailing ships and did much research to ensure the authenticity of his work.
